Set Up a cPanel Email Account in Mozilla Thunderbird

1. Open Mozilla Thunderbird.

   

2. Open the application menu on the right side of the window and select New Message, then choose Existing Mail Account.

   

3. Enter your name, full email address (for example, yourname@example.com), and email account password. Select Continue.

   

4. Wait while Thunderbird checks for account settings. When setup is complete, select Done.

   

5. If Thunderbird displays a security certificate warning, review the certificate details before deciding whether to accept the exception. Do not confirm an exception unless you trust the server and its certificate.

   

Your email account should now be available in Thunderbird.
