How to Create a Database in cPanel

You can create a MySQL or MariaDB database from cPanel’s database management interface.

1. Log in to your cPanel account.
2. Open Databases and select Manage My Databases. On older cPanel versions, this interface may be named MySQL Databases.
3. In the New Database field, enter the database name.
4. Click Create Database.
5. After the confirmation appears, return to the database page. The new database will be listed under Current Databases.
