The error “Allowed memory size of … bytes exhausted” means a PHP script reached its configured memory limit. The legacy RLimitMem max directive is not a reliable way to change PHP’s memory limit and may cause an internal server error if unsupported.
Check the PHP memory limit
Use the PHP configuration tools available in your hosting control panel to review or change memory_limit. If your plan or server configuration does not allow you to change it, contact your hosting provider.
You can also reduce the script’s memory use or investigate why it is loading more data than expected. If the error occurs only in a particular directory, note the affected script path when requesting help.
