Log in to SiteWorx. For example, visit
www.example.com:2443/siteworx/.In SiteWorx, open Hosting Features if it is not already expanded, then select Softaculous.
In Softaculous, select Blogs from the left-side menu, then choose WordPress.
Select Install.
Complete the Software Setup fields:
- Choose Protocol: Leave the default selection unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install WordPress. If only one domain is available, leave the selection as it is.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install WordPress at a path such as
example.com/directory. Leave this blank to install it on the domain itself.
Under Site Settings, enter a site name and description. Leave Enable Multisite (WPMU) disabled unless you specifically need a multisite network.
Under Admin Account, enter an admin username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid common usernames such as
adminoradministrator. Save these login details securely; you will need them to access the WordPress admin area.Choose the language for your WordPress site. English is selected by default.
Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backup files use storage space.
Select a theme if desired, or leave the default selection.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Install.
