Log in to SiteWorx. For example, visit
www.example.com:2443/siteworx/, replacing the address with your domain.Open Hosting Features and select Softaculous.
In the Softaculous interface, select Blogs from the left-hand menu, then choose b2evolution.
Select Install.
Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
- Choose Protocol: Keep the default unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install b2evolution.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install at a path such as
example.com/directory. Leave this blank to install at the domain root.
Under Database Settings, leave Import Sample Data at its default setting.
Under Admin Account, enter an admin username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid generic usernames such as
adminoradministrator.Save the username and password securely; you will need them to access the b2evolution admin area.
Leave Advanced Options unchanged unless you want to adjust options such as the database name or automated backups. Backups use disk space.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Install.
