How to Install Ghost via Softaculous in SiteWorx

1. Log in to SiteWorx, for example at www.example.com:2443/siteworx/.

2. Under SiteWorx, open Hosting Features if it is not already expanded, then select Softaculous.

3. Softaculous will open. In the left-hand menu, select Blogs, then choose Ghost.

4. Select Install.

5. Complete the Software Setup fields:

   • Choose Protocol: Leave the default selection unless you need a different protocol.
   • Choose Domain: Select the domain for the installation. If you have only one domain, leave the default selection.
   • In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Ghost in a subdirectory, such as example.com/directory. Leave this field blank to install it at the domain root, such as example.com.
   • Data Directory: Leave the default value.
   • CRON Job: Leave the default value.

6. Leave Advanced Options unchanged unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Frequent backups can use significant disk space.

7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Install.

When installation is complete, Softaculous will display the admin URL for your Ghost blog.
