Log in to SiteWorx, for example at
www.example.com:2443/siteworx/.Under SiteWorx, open Hosting Features if it is not already expanded, then select Softaculous.
In Softaculous, find the Blogs category in the left-hand menu and select LifeType.
Click Install.
Complete the Software Setup fields:
- Choose Protocol: Keep the default unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain for the installation. If you have only one domain, keep the default.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install LifeType in a subdirectory, such as
example.com/directory. Leave this blank to install it at the selected domain’s root.
Under Site Settings, enter a Site Name, such as “My First Website.”
Under Database Settings, leave the Table Prefix at its default unless you need to change it.
Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username, a strong password, your real name (or leave the default), and your email address. Avoid generic usernames such as “Administrator” or “Admin.” Save the username and password; you will need them to access LifeType’s admin area.
Choose the blog’s language. English is the default.
Leave Advanced Options at their defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups can use additional disk space.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
