Log in to SiteWorx, for example at
www.example.com:2443/siteworx/.Open Hosting Features, then select Softaculous.
In Softaculous, select Blogs from the left-hand menu, then choose Chyrp.
Click Install.
Configure the software setup:
- Choose Protocol: Keep the default unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install Chyrp.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Chyrp at a path such as
example.com/directory. Leave this blank to install it at the domain root.
Under Site Settings, enter a site name and description.
Under Admin Account, enter an admin username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid using predictable usernames such as
adminoradministrator.Save the username and password securely; you will need them to sign in to the Chyrp administration area.
Review Advanced Options. Keep the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups use disk space.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
