- Log in to SiteWorx, for example at
www.example.com:2443/siteworx/. - Under SiteWorx, click Hosting Features if the section is not already open, then select Softaculous.
- In Softaculous, find the Blogs category in the left-hand menu and select FlatPress.
- Click Install.
- Complete the Software Setup fields:
- Choose Protocol: Leave the default selection unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install FlatPress. If you have only one domain, leave the default selection.
- In Directory: To install FlatPress in a subdirectory, enter its name (for example,
directoryto useexample.com/directory). Leave this field blank to install it at the domain’s root.
- Under Admin Account, enter an admin username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid common usernames such as “admin” or “administrator.” Save these login details so you can access the FlatPress admin area.
- Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups use disk space.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
