You can reinstall your VPS operating system using the SolusVM reinstallation tool. Reinstalling will erase all data on your VPS, so back up anything you need before proceeding.
- Log in to your SolusVM control panel.
- If you have multiple VPS instances, select the one you want to reinstall.
- Scroll down and click Reinstall.
- Select the operating system you want to install, such as CentOS 7.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Reinstall. When the confirmation prompt appears, click Yes.
SolusVM will display a message indicating that installation may take up to 10 minutes, along with an administrator or root password. Save the password securely; you will need it to access your VPS after installation.
