You can change a VPS hostname in SolusVM for reference purposes only. This does not change the hostname configured inside the VPS.

  1. Log in to your SolusVM control panel.

  2. If you manage multiple VPS instances, select the appropriate one.

  3. Scroll to the Hostname section. Enter the hostname in the New Hostname field, then click Change.

A reboot is not required. Example hostnames include server1.example.com and hostingserver.example.com.
