How to Edit or Delete a DNS Record in cPanel

Use cPanel’s Zone Editor to manage DNS records for a domain.

1. Log in to cPanel, for example at example.com/cpanel.
2. In the Domains section, open Zone Editor.
   
3. Find the domain you want to update. Use its Manage option to view the DNS records.
   
   
4. Find the record you want to change. Select Edit, update the record details, and save your changes. To remove a record, select Delete and confirm if prompted.
   

DNS changes may take time to appear across the internet. The delay varies depending on DNS caching and record settings.
