Edit or Remove a CNAME Record in cPanel

Use the cPanel Zone Editor to update or delete a CNAME record for a domain.

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the Domains section, open Zone Editor.
   
3. Find the domain you want to update, then click Manage beside it.
   
4. Locate the CNAME record in the DNS records list. Click Edit to change its details, then save the changes using the control shown in cPanel.
   
5. To remove the record, click Delete and confirm if prompted.

DNS changes may take time to appear across the internet. The time required varies depending on DNS caching and the record’s TTL.
