How to Install a SolusVM Slave on CentOS 7

A SolusVM Slave runs on a server that hosts virtual machines and is managed through a SolusVM Master.

Requirements

• A fresh CentOS 7 installation on the server.
• Root access over SSH.

Install the SolusVM Slave

1. Connect to the server over SSH as root.
2. Download and run the installer:
   wget https://files.soluslabs.com/install.sh
sh install.sh
3. When prompted, choose the virtualization type by entering the corresponding option number and pressing Enter. The installer displays the available choices; select the one appropriate for your setup. For example, the original guide selects option 2 for KVM.
   

Installation may take 15–20 minutes. When it finishes, the installer displays the Slave keys and instructions for the selected virtualization type.

Use the displayed keys to add the node in your SolusVM Master panel. A SolusVM Slave license is required for each node.
