How to Create an Email Autoresponder in cPanel

Use a cPanel autoresponder to send an automatic reply to incoming email while you are away or unavailable.

  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. In the Email section, select Autoresponders.
  3. Select Add Autoresponder.
  4. Set the interval, in hours, between autoresponder messages sent to the same email address.
  5. In the Email field, enter the mailbox name. For example, to set up an autoresponder for support@example.com, enter support, then choose the appropriate domain from the domain list.
  6. Enter the sender name in the From field and a subject in the Subject field.
  7. Enter the automatic reply message.
  8. Choose when the autoresponder starts and stops.
  9. Select Create/Modify to save it.

Delete an autoresponder

  1. Open Autoresponders in cPanel.
  2. Find the autoresponder in the current autoresponders list and select Delete next to it.
