How to Delete an FTP Account in cPanel

To remove an unused FTP account in cPanel:

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the Files section, click FTP Accounts.
   
3. Find the account in the FTP Accounts list and click Delete.
   
4. Confirm the deletion.

Leave the option to delete the account’s home directory unchecked if you want to keep its files. Deleting the home directory removes its contents, which may only be recoverable from a backup.
