- Log in to SiteWorx, for example at
www.example.com:2443/siteworx/. - Under SiteWorx, open Hosting Features if it is not already expanded, then select Softaculous.
- In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category on the left and select Drupal.
- Click Install.
- Under Software Setup, review the installation settings:
- Choose the version you want to install: Select the version you want, or leave the default selection.
- Choose Protocol: Select the protocol for your site, or leave the default selection.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where Drupal should be installed.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Drupal at a path such as
example.com/directory. Leave this blank to install it at the domain root. - Cronjob: Review the setting and leave the default unless you need to change it.
- Under Site Settings, enter your website name.
- Under Admin Account, enter an admin username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid easily guessed usernames such as
adminorAdministrator. - Save your admin username and password securely; you will need them to access Drupal's admin area.
- Review Advanced Options. You can leave the defaults or change options such as the database name and automated backups. Automated backups can use additional disk space.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
