Log in to SiteWorx, for example at
www.example.com:2443/siteworx/.Under SiteWorx, open Hosting Features, then select Softaculous.
In Softaculous, open the Forums category and select phpBB. Click Install.
Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
- Choose Protocol: Keep the default unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install phpBB.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install phpBB in a subdirectory, such as
forums. Leave this blank to install it at the domain root.
Under Board Settings, enter the board name, site description, and board email address.
Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username, a strong password, and an email address. Avoid common usernames such as
adminoradministrator.Save the login details securely; you will need them to access the phpBB administration area.
Under Choose Language, select the forum's default language. English is the default.
Leave Advanced Options unchanged unless you want to adjust settings such as the database name or automated backups. Backups use disk space.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
