Log in to SiteWorx, for example at
www.example.com:2443/siteworx/.Under SiteWorx, open Hosting Features if it is not already expanded, then select Softaculous.
In Softaculous, select Forums from the left-hand menu, then choose MyBB.
Select Install.
Complete the Software Setup fields:
- Choose Protocol: Keep the default unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain for the forum. If you have only one domain, keep the selection.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install the forum at a path such as
example.com/forums. Leave this blank to install it at the domain's root.
Enter the Board Settings:
- Site Name: Enter your website's name.
- Board Name: Enter a name for the forum.
- Board E-mail: Enter the forum's email address.
Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username, a strong password, and an email address. Avoid generic usernames such as “Admin” or “Administrator.” Save the login details; you will need them to access the MyBB administration area.
Under Choose Language, select the forum's default language. English is the default.
Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you need to change the database name or configure automated backups. Frequent backups may use additional disk space.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Install.
