- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
- In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category in the left-hand menu and select PHP-Fusion.
- Click Install.
- Complete the Software Setup fields:
- Choose Protocol: Leave the default selection unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install PHP-Fusion.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install PHP-Fusion in a subdirectory, such as
example.com/directory. Leave this blank to install it at the domain root.
- Under Site Settings, enter a name for your website.
- Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid using common usernames such as “Admin” or “Administrator.”
Save the username and password securely; you will need them to access the PHP-Fusion administration area.
- Review Advanced Options. You can leave the defaults or change options such as the database name and automated backups. Automated backups may use additional disk space.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install to begin the installation.
