- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
- In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category in the left-hand menu, then select e107.
- Click Install.
- Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
- Choose Protocol: Select the protocol you want to use. Leave the default if it is appropriate for your site.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want e107 installed. If you have only one domain, keep the selected domain.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install e107 at a path such as
example.com/directory. Leave this field blank to install it at the domain root.
- Under Site Settings, enter your website's name.
- Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username, a strong password, your real name (or leave the default), and your email address. Avoid using easily guessed usernames such as “Admin” or “Administrator.”
- Save the administrator username and password securely; you will need them to sign in to e107's admin area.
- Leave Advanced Options unchanged unless you want to customize settings such as the database name or automated backups. Backups can use additional disk space. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
