- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
- In Softaculous, locate the Portal/CMS category in the left-hand menu and select PHP-Nuke.
- Click Install.
- Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
- Choose Protocol: Select the protocol you want to use, or leave the default selection.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain for the installation. If you have only one domain, leave the default selection.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install PHP-Nuke at a path such as
example.com/directory. Leave this field blank to install it at the domain root.
- Under Site Settings, enter a site name and description.
- Under Admin Account, set the administrator details:
- Admin Username: Use the username shown by Softaculous, or change it if the field is editable.
- Admin Password: Set a strong password.
- Real Name: Keep the default or enter your name.
- Admin Email: Enter your email address.
- Save your administrator username and password securely; you will need them to access the PHP-Nuke administration area.
- Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups use disk space.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
