- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
- In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category and select PyroCMS.
- Click Install.
- Under Software Setup, choose the protocol and domain for the installation. If you want PyroCMS in a subdirectory, enter the directory name in In Directory; leave it blank to install at the domain's document root.
- Under Site Settings, enter an application name. You can leave the application reference unchanged.
- Under Admin Account, enter an admin username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid generic usernames such as “admin” or “administrator.” Save the login details securely; you will need them to access the PyroCMS admin area.
- Review Advanced Options. You can leave the defaults or change the database name and backup settings. Automated backups can use additional disk space.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
