  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
  3. In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category, then select jCore.
  4. Click Install.
  5. Complete the Software Setup fields:
    • Choose Protocol: Select the protocol you want to use for the site.
    • Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install jCore.
    • In Directory: Enter a directory name to install jCore in a subdirectory, such as directory for example.com/directory. Leave this blank to install it at the domain root.
  6. Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid common usernames such as admin or administrator.

Save the username and password securely; you will need them to access the jCore administration area.

  7. Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults in place unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups can use additional disk space.
  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
