  1. Log in to your cPanel account.

  2. Under Software, click Softaculous App Installer.

  3. In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category from the left-hand menu, then select Silex.

  4. Click Install.

  5. Complete the Software Setup fields:

    • Choose Protocol: Keep the default selection unless you need a different protocol.
    • Choose Domain: Select the domain for the installation. If you have only one domain, keep the current selection.
    • In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Silex at a path such as example.com/directory. Leave this blank to install it at the domain root.
  1. Under Admin Account, enter an admin username and a strong password. Avoid generic usernames such as admin or administrator.

Save these login details; you will need them to access the Silex admin area.

  2. Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups use disk space.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
