  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
  3. In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category on the left and select Bolt.
  4. Click Install.
  5. Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
    • Choose Protocol: Select the protocol you want to use. You can leave the default selection unchanged.
    • Choose Domain: Select the domain for the installation. If you have only one domain, leave the default selection.
    • In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Bolt in a subdirectory, such as example.com/directory. Leave this field blank to install it at the domain root.
  6. Under Admin Account, enter the administrator details:
    • Admin Username: Choose a username. For security, avoid common usernames such as admin or administrator.
    • Admin Password: Use a strong password.
    • Real Name: Keep the default or enter your name.
    • Admin Email: Enter your email address.
  7. Choose the language for Bolt. The default is English. Save the administrator username and password securely; you will need them to sign in to Bolt's admin area.
  8. Leave Advanced Options unchanged unless you want to adjust settings such as the database name or automated backups. Backups can use disk space. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
