  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
  3. In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category on the left and select Fork.
  4. Click Install.
  5. Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
    • Choose Protocol: Select the protocol for your site.
    • Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install Fork.
    • In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Fork at a path such as example.com/directory. Leave this blank to install it at the domain’s root.
  6. Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username and a strong password. Avoid common usernames such as admin or administrator. Save these credentials; you will need them to access Fork’s admin area.
  7. Review Advanced Options. You can leave the defaults or change the database name and backup settings. Automated backups can use additional disk space.
  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
