- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
- In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category and select GRAV.
- Click Install.
- Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
- Choose Protocol: Select the protocol for your site, or keep the default.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install GRAV. If you have only one domain, keep the default selection.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install GRAV at a path such as
example.com/directory. Leave this field blank to install it at the domain root.
- Under Admin Account, enter the requested details:
- Admin Username: Use the username shown by Softaculous. If the field is disabled, it cannot be changed here.
- Admin Password: Set a strong password.
- Admin Email: Enter your email address.
- First Name and Last Name: Enter your name.
- Real Name: Keep the default or enter your full name.
Save the admin login details securely; you will need them to access the GRAV admin area.
- Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups can use additional disk space.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
