How to Remove a Category in WordPress

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
2. In the dashboard menu, go to Posts and select Categories.
   
3. Find the category you want to remove. Hover over its name and click Delete.
4. If prompted, confirm the deletion.
   

Deleting a category does not delete its posts. Posts assigned only to the deleted category are moved to the default category.
