  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Under Software, click Softaculous App Installer.
  3. In Softaculous, locate the Portal/CMS category in the left-hand menu, then select SiteCake.
  4. Click Install.
  5. Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
    • Choose Protocol: Select the protocol you want to use, or leave the default selection.
    • Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install SiteCake.
    • In Directory: Enter a directory name to install SiteCake in a subdirectory, such as directory for example.com/directory. Leave this blank to install it at the domain’s root.

Save the administrator login details securely; you will need them to access the SiteCake admin area.

  7. Leave Advanced Options unchanged unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups use disk space.
  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
