  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
  3. In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category and select Croogo.
  4. Click Install.
  5. Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
    • Choose Protocol: Select the protocol you want to use. You can leave the default selection if it is appropriate for your site.
    • Choose Domain: Select the domain where Croogo will be installed. If you have only one domain, leave the selection as it is.
    • In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Croogo at a location such as example.com/directory. Leave this field blank to install it in the domain's main directory.
  6. Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid common usernames such as admin or administrator.

Save the username and password securely; you will need them to sign in to the Croogo administration area.

  7. Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups can use disk space.
  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
