Log in to your cPanel account.
In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category and select Pimcore.
Click Install.
Complete the Software Setup fields:
- Choose Protocol: Select the protocol you want to use, or leave the default selection.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain for the installation. If you have only one domain, leave the default selection.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Pimcore at an address such as
example.com/directory. Leave this blank to install it at the domain's main address. - Cron Job: Leave the default setting unless you need to change it.
Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username and a strong password. Avoid generic usernames such as
adminoradministrator.Save the administrator login details; you will need them to access the Pimcore admin area.
Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups can use additional disk space.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
