  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
  3. In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category and select Saurus.
  4. Click Install.
  5. Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
    • Choose Protocol: Select the protocol you want to use, or leave the default selection.
    • Choose Domain: Select the domain for the installation. If you have only one domain, leave the default selection.
    • In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Saurus in a subdirectory, such as example.com/directory. Leave this field blank to install it at the domain’s root.
  6. Under Admin Account, enter the administrator details:
    • Admin Username: Choose a username other than a predictable name such as “admin” or “administrator.”
    • Admin Password: Use a strong password.
    • Real Name: Keep the default or enter your name.
    • Admin Email: Enter your email address.

Save the administrator username and password securely. You will need them to access the Saurus administration area.

  7. Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change options such as the database name or automated backups. Backups may use disk space.
  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
