- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
- In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category and select PluXml.
- Click Install.
- Under Software Setup, choose the installation settings:
- Choose Protocol: Select the protocol for your site.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where PluXml will be installed.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install PluXml in a subdirectory, such as
directoryforexample.com/directory. Leave this blank to install it at the domain’s root.
- Under Admin Account, enter the administrator details:
- Real Name: Keep the default or enter your name.
- Admin Username: Choose a username other than a predictable name such as “admin” or “administrator.”
- Admin Password: Use a strong password.
- Choose the PluXml language. English is the default.
- Save the administrator username and password; you will need them to access the PluXml administration area.
- Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups use disk space. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
