- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
- In Softaculous, open the Portal/CMS category and select Typesetter.
- Click Install.
- Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
- Choose Protocol: Select the protocol for your site, or leave the default selection.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install Typesetter.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Typesetter at a path such as
example.com/directory. Leave this blank to install it at the domain root.
- Under Site Settings, enter your site name.
- Under Admin Account, enter an admin username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid common usernames such as “admin” or “administrator.” Save these login details so you can access the Typesetter admin area.
- Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups can use additional disk space.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
