- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
- In Softaculous, open the Blogs category and select WordPress.
- Click Install.
- Under Software Setup, choose the installation protocol and domain. If you have only one domain, you can leave the domain selection unchanged. To install WordPress in a subdirectory, enter the directory name in In Directory. Leave this field blank to install it at the domain’s root.
- Under Site Settings, enter a site name and description. Leave Enable Multisite (WPMU) unchanged unless you specifically want to enable multisite.
- Under Admin Account, enter an admin username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid common usernames such as “admin.” Keep your login details somewhere secure.
- Choose the WordPress language. English is the default.
- Review Advanced Options. Leave them unchanged unless you want to customize settings such as the database name or automated backups. Backup files use disk space.
- Select a theme if desired, or leave the default selection.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
