  1. Log in to your cPanel account. In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
  2. In Softaculous, open the Forums category and select Beehive.
  3. Click Install.
  4. Under Software Setup, choose the protocol and domain for the installation. If you want Beehive installed in a subdirectory, enter its name in In Directory (for example, forum). Leave this field blank to install it at the domain’s document root.
  5. Under Site Settings, enter a default forum webtag, such as MyBeehive_Forum.
  6. Under Admin Account, set an administrator username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid generic usernames such as admin or administrator. Save these credentials; you will need them to access the Beehive administration area.
  7. Leave Advanced Options unchanged unless you want to customize the database name or backup settings. Automated backups can use disk space. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
