Log in to SiteWorx, for example at
www.example.com:2443/siteworx/.Under SiteWorx, open Hosting Features if it is not already expanded, then select Softaculous.
In Softaculous, find Forums in the left-side category list and select Phorum.
Select Install.
Complete the Software Setup fields:
- Choose Protocol: Keep the default unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install Phorum.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install at a path such as
example.com/forum. Leave this blank to install at the domain root.
Under Site Settings, enter a forum name and description.
Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid common usernames such as
adminoradministrator.Save the username and password securely; you will need them to access the Phorum administration area.
Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups can use disk space.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Install.
