Log in to SiteWorx (for example, at
www.example.com:2443/siteworx/).Under SiteWorx, open Hosting Features if it is not already expanded, then select Softaculous.
In Softaculous, locate the Forums category in the left-hand menu and select miniBB.
Click Install.
Complete the Software Setup fields:
- Choose Protocol: Keep the default unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain for the installation. If you have only one domain, keep the default.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install miniBB in a subdirectory, such as
forumforexample.com/forum. Leave this blank to install it at the domain root.
Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid common usernames such as
AdministratororAdmin.Save the username and password securely; you will need them to sign in to the miniBB administration area.
Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups use disk space.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
