Log in to SiteWorx, for example at
www.example.com:2443/siteworx/.Under SiteWorx, open Hosting Features if it is not already expanded, then select Softaculous.
In Softaculous, select Forums from the left-hand menu, then choose Beehive.
Select Install.
Complete the Software Setup options:
- Choose Protocol: Leave the default selection unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain for the installation. If you have only one domain, leave the default selection.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Beehive in a subdirectory, such as
forum. Leave this blank to install it at the domain’s root.
Under Site Settings, enter a default forum webtag, such as
MyBeehive_Forum.Under Admin Account, enter an admin username, a strong password, and your email address. For security, avoid usernames such as
AdministratororAdmin. Keep the login details somewhere safe; you will need them to access the forum’s admin area.Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups can use disk space.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Install.
