How to Install TangoBB Forum via Softaculous in cPanel

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. In the Software section, click Softaculous.
  3. In Softaculous, locate the Forums category on the left and select TangoBB.
  4. Click Install.
  5. Under Software Setup, choose the protocol and domain for the installation. If you want to install TangoBB in a subdirectory, enter its name in In Directory (for example, forum). Leave this field blank to install it at the domain's main directory.
  6. Under Site Settings, enter a name for your forum.
  7. Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username, a strong password, and an email address. Avoid common usernames such as admin or administrator.
  8. Save your administrator username and password somewhere secure; you will need them to access the forum's admin area.
  9. Review Advanced Options. You can leave the defaults unchanged, or adjust options such as the database name and automated backups. Frequent backups may use additional disk space.
  10. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
