- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
- In Softaculous, locate the Blogs category in the left-hand menu, then select b2evolution.
- Click Install.
- Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
- Choose Protocol: Keep the default unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install b2evolution. If you have only one domain, keep the selection as is.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install at a path such as
example.com/directory. Leave this blank to install at the domain root.
- Under Database Settings, leave Import Sample Data at its default setting unless you want to change it.
- Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username, a strong password, and your email address. Avoid common usernames such as “admin” or “administrator.”
- Save your administrator username and password somewhere secure; you will need them to sign in to the b2evolution administration area.
- Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups can use disk space.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
