How to Install Ghost with Softaculous in cPanel

1. Log in to your cPanel account.
2. In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
   
3. In Softaculous, open the Blogs category and select Ghost.
   
4. Click Install.
   
5. Under Software Setup, review the installation settings:
   • Choose Protocol: Leave the default selection unless you need a different protocol.
   • Choose Domain: Select the domain for the installation. If you have only one domain, keep the selected value.
   • In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Ghost in a subdirectory, such as directory for example.com/directory. Leave this field blank to install it at the domain root.
   • Data Directory: Keep the default value unless you have a specific reason to change it.
   • CRON Job: Keep the default setting unless you need to change it.
6. Review Advanced Options. You can change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups use disk space, so consider your storage needs.
7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
   

When the installation is complete, Softaculous displays the URL for your Ghost administration area.
