- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
- In Softaculous, open the Blogs category and select Nucleus.
- Click Install.
- Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
- Choose Protocol: Leave the default selection unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install Nucleus.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Nucleus in a subdirectory, such as
example.com/directory. Leave this field blank to install it at the domain root.
- Under Site Settings, enter a site name and a short name for the site.
- Under Admin Account, set the administrator username, a strong password, your real name if desired, and your email address. For security, avoid usernames such as
AdministratororAdmin. - Save your administrator username and password securely; you will need them to access the Nucleus administration area.
- Leave Advanced Options at their defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups can use additional disk space.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
