  4. Click Install.
  5. Under Software Setup, configure the installation:
    • Choose Protocol: Leave the default selection unless you need a different protocol.
    • Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install Nucleus.
    • In Directory: Enter a directory name to install Nucleus in a subdirectory, such as example.com/directory. Leave this field blank to install it at the domain root.
  6. Under Site Settings, enter a site name and a short name for the site.
  7. Under Admin Account, set the administrator username, a strong password, your real name if desired, and your email address. For security, avoid usernames such as Administrator or Admin.
  8. Save your administrator username and password securely; you will need them to access the Nucleus administration area.
  9. Leave Advanced Options at their defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups can use additional disk space.
