Log in to your cPanel account.
In the Software section, click Softaculous App Installer.
In Softaculous, find the Blogs category in the left-hand menu, then select HTMLy.
Click Install.
Under Software Setup, configure these fields:
- Choose Protocol: Leave the default selection unless you need a different protocol.
- Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install HTMLy.
- In Directory: Enter a directory name to install at a path such as
example.com/directory. Leave this field blank to install at the domain root, such asexample.com.
Under Admin Account, enter an administrator username, a strong password, and your email address. For security, avoid common usernames such as
adminoradministrator.Save your administrator username and password somewhere secure; you will need them to access the HTMLy administration area.
Review Advanced Options. Leave the defaults unless you want to change the database name or configure automated backups. Backups can use additional disk space.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Install.
